Famars "Royal Jorema"
FAMARS ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI
Shotguns
Category : D
Caliber : 12/70mm/2¾"
An outstanding FAMARS Boss type "Royal Jorema" over under gun made by Abbiatico & Salvinelli circa 1991.
This superb game gun bears Böhler steel 29" chopper lump barrels chocked 3/10° and 8/10° on a .720" perfect bore.
The tubes pivot on the studs integrated in the low profile Boss type action fitted with "pinless" rear springs sidelocks while the large extractors are knocked by powerful H&H, modified and patented A&S ejectors. The single trigger controls successively the bottom and the top barrel.
The wood, a superlative French walnut, has been used for the 15" LOP Prince of Wales rounded grip and Silver's butt pad stock and for the elegant forearm with its Purdey latch under half arch bridle.
With the exception of the rust blued barrels, all metal parts are coin finish hardened and entirely covered with an extraordinary English scrolls and bouquets engraving, the heart of each scroll inlaid with a point of gold.
This remarkable and meticulous work is from the hands of SABATTI[1], one of the most famous master engravers of the end of the 20th century and of our time.
This remarkable gun, in perfect condition, is delivered in its original brown leather case and supports our full guarantee.
The weight of this perfectly balanced over under stands at 7lb 9oz, a weight equally distributed between the barrels with forend and the action with stock.
