Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57.R
To make that best quality Single Shot Stalking Rifle with Jörg Schilling at Zella-Melhis, we have used an old and rare sliding breach Schmidt & Habermann action made by Greiff in Suhl circa 1900.
The complete action was overhauled, squared and blue printed with a new bushed firing pin, the it was filed to a more pleasant look before Schilling put on a superb quality 6,5x57R 24'' barrel. The barreled action was then proofed at the severe Suhl proof house.
We chosen a superb ONA piece of circassian walnut to mount a modern classic stock, satin oil finished and multipoint’s checkered at 22LPI. The LOP is 14½'' on a jet-black buffalo horn butt plate assorted to the forend horn tip.
The gorgeous engraving use a modernized 1900 ornamentation head lighted with green and red gold accents and the whole is finished in French grey.
The Swarovski PV 2,5-10x42 R.4 rail scope is mounted on claw mounts and the barrel is fitted with hand made front and gold lined rear sights.
The rust blued barrel bears ours names inlaid in gold and the caliber engraved by hand.
With a 6,5lbs net weight (ad 1,3lbs for the scope) we are proud to offer such a fast handling and accurate rifle.
