BLASER, JSNY
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57R
Designed by Horst BLASER at Jsny at the end of the seventies, this single shot rifle remains one of the best falling block of the last fifty years.
That particular sample has been restocked in a German fashion that improves the scope use. Nice walnut, fine finish and excellent checkering were used for that task.
The well-preserved original woods are furnished with the rifle.
The action uses a simple system that permits to separately cock the firing mechanism with a light pull on the last motion of the falling block lever, thus the rifle must be carried loaded without danger. The trigger is fully adjustable and could be made to break cleanly with a one-pound pull.
All metallic parts display a nice soft black finish.
The partly octagonal, partly round 24" long barrel sports a sighting rib, and it is fitted with scope bases for a Swarovski AV 4-12x50A R4A scope on Eramatic swing mount.
Even if only best quality materials are used in its manufacture, that single shot weights a mere 6lb 12oz unscoped and 8lb 2oz with the Swarovski mounted.
It shots very accurately and remains in perfect condition.
