Caliber : .416 Rigby
A big Safari rifle, made by Dumoulin in Liège and chambered for the legendary 416 Rigby big game cartridge.
The rifle was built on a commercial FN action, fitted with a great capacity magazine and a heavy 24" Delcour barrel. A short express rib sports a wide V leave sighted on the Westley-Richards type front sight.
A S&B 1,25-4x20 R.4 scope is fitted on reinforced claw mounts, with a supplementary front base in the barrel rib for another possible bigger scope.
Yvan Thierry finely engraved the entire action before the final coin finish.
A new stock was made in the "Big Game" classic style with a mercury recoil absorber epoxied under the large red Pachmayr "Decelerator" pad.
The last owner has fitted a 5/8" wood extension to bring the LOP at 14", but the rifle remains in perfect state.
10¼ lbs net weight, 11¼ lbs scoped.
