That GK first model rifle was built at Steyr circa 1963.
It's fitted with the special all steel side safety for scope use.
The 24" long barrel is chambered for the 7x64 Brenneke cartridge
A Zeiss "Diatal" 6x42 scope is fixed on engraved factory claw mounts.
The 14¼" LOP stock is made of well figured French walnut and retains its original butt plate.
All the original finish is present, sometime slightly faded, but without any hidden flaw.
That rifle was tested and sighted at 200 meters with RWS 162gns KS and it delivers superb accuracy with flawless functioning.
Fitted with its scope, that well preserved Mannlicher weights 8lbs 13oz and 7lbs 4oz without.
