HUSQVARNA
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 30-06 GVT
The reputation of the Swedish Husqvarna Wapenfabriks A.B arsenal goes beyond the borders of Europe as the quality of its production, both military and civilian, has imposed itself.
When in the fifties the old Nordic arms factory used the best available commercial Mauser system, the one then produced by FN, it could decline its mod.146 hunting rifle in calibers that the 96' version couldn't support.
This sample, in perfect original condition, dates from the mid-50s and has reached us in a near new condition, retaining almost all factory finishes.
The 24" Bofors steel barrel, with its absolutely perfect bore, is chambered for the universal 30-06 U.S round and carries a set of robust metallic sights consisting of a dovetailed single leaf rear sight regulated on a fine bead on ramp with sliding protector.
The 13¾” LOP stock, made of good European walnut, without cheekpiece, adopts a true classic shape with a very slight schnabel ending the forearm while the butt retain its original monogrammed composition plate.
The action is the traditional Mauser 98 'in its civilian version produced at Herstal, particularly reliable and easy to handle.
This rifle, in a remarkable state of conservation, weighs 7lb 3oz and bears our full guarantee.
