HAMBRUSCH for SIPP
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 16/70mm/2¾"-16/70mm/2¾"-8x75RS
Hambrush in Ferlach made that very high quality mountain drilling for Sipp in Strasburg. That peculiar gun bears some rarely encountered options like 25" Böhler steel barrels chambered in 16/2¾" combined with a 8x75RS rifled one, a very potent and flat shooting cartridge. These barrels, choked 4/10° & 6/10° are perfectly regulated on the rifled one and are fitted with an automatic rear sight and separate extractor.
They bear a double claw mount bases to hold a ZEISS "Diavari" ZM 1,5-6x42T* R4 stalking scope and a light 1,5-4,5x20 SWAROVSKI "Habitcht" R2 optic for fast shooting.
The forged steel action, with triple Kersteen Greener bolting, is scroll and vignette engraved on silvered finished. Its double trigger, with combined hair front one for the rifled shot, is blocked by a traditional transverse Greener safety and the barrel's selector on top of hand, controls the automatic rear sight.
The German style 14½" LOP stock, with beaded oval cheekpiece and light hump back is made from a good dense dark piece of French walnut while the forend is of semi beavertail pattern, the two perfectly finished and finely checkered.
That drilling weights only 7lbs-2oz & 7lbs-15oz fitted with the SWAROVSKI and 8lbs-10oz ZEISS scoped.
