Caliber : .270 Winchester
That "Slim Rifle" chambered for the classic .270 Winchester cartridge, was built on a 1908 DWM 98' Mauser action, heavily modified and fitted with low profile magazine.
The 24'' Lothar Walther barrel bears a slanted and gold lined "V" rear sight regulated on a caterpillar front gold bead, the two sights affixed on soldered banded supports.
The special lowered bolting lever is made to ease the rapid manipulation of the rifle, as is the single stage trigger tuned to a crisp 3.lbs let-off.
The side swing safety is of the three positions pattern with bolting lever and gold incrusted details.
The Swarovski AV 3-9×36 scope is fitted on special hand made low Suhl type claw mounts.
The stock, of nicely figured French walnut, is shaped in the German style, with a 14'' LOP on a ½'' black butt pad.
The whole action is treated with Royal engraving finished in mellowed color case hardening and royal blue finish, with a superb mate gold relief inlay of a Chamois trophy skull incrusted on the floorplate.
The rifle has benefited of a full service and is presented in a near new condition, with flawless functioning and granted accuracy.
Net weight 7lbs. and 8lbs 2oz. scoped.
