A very fine Smith & Wesson Model 686-3 [Special Order #1226], which left the Springfield factory in late July 1991.

This .357 Magnum 4" barrel revolver is in superb condition, and comes with its original box.

The gun appears to have seen very little use; neither the frame nor the cylinder shows any signs of residue buildup.

This L-frame model belongs to the pre-MIM [Metal Injection Molding] generation, featuring a K-type action and a hammer-mounted firing pin; it is fitted with Gonçalo Alves wood grips bearing S&W medallions.
