Category : C

Caliber : 6.5x55 SE

Our stalking rifle is built on a heavily modified CZ 21 MAUSER Small Ring receiver fitted with DWM 1909 bolt and magazine.

The entire system has been fully blue printed.

On the receiver, the locking lug on the rear bridge has been TIG welded, and the original 16^mm rails have been machined to TALLEY standard.

The bolt has been carefully lapped before the installation of an elegant, low profile swept back, bolt handle.

The 1909 magazine retains its hinged floor plate, while the trigger guard has been filed and contoured.

A new single stage trigger, built on the basis of an all-steel ERA, set for a crisp 30 oz. let-off, and a three position safety with left operating lever for right thumb access complete the mechanism.

The 25" LOTHAR WALTHER Match Grade barrel, chambered for the superb 6.5x55SE cartridge, features a perfectly regulated sight line, consisting of a three gold lined leaves express rear sight and a fine bead front sight set on an elongated spear shaped ramp.

For a possible sound moderator future installation, the 11° match muzzle is 1/2"-28 TPI threaded under invisible protective ring.

The 14½'' LOP stock, made of beautiful marble cake French walnut, is classically D&D shaped, combining an elongated grip, a straight comb and an oval beaded cheek piece.

The thin leather-covered recoil pad and the superbly engraved steel grip cap complete the furniture, along with the escutcheon inlaid under the stock and the sling swivels base typical of our manufacture.

The hand engraved markings, the serial number inlaid in shaded gold on the trigger guard and on the receiver left side, as well as the gold "SAFE" on the safety catch, tastefully decorate the overall rifle, while the sights bases are very finely shaded to an anti-glare finish.

All metal parts are blued except for the bone and charcoal color casehardened furniture while the extractor blade remains nitre blue.

A SWAROVSKI Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 4Ai scope is mounted at its lowest on a set of D&D modified quick detachable TALLEY rings.

The rifle weighs 7lb 11oz. and 9lb 5oz. scoped.

** This accurate rifle has been regulated and sighted for the 143gr Norma Bondstrike Extreme cartridge **
