Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 45-70 Gvt.
Made by Shiloh Rifle Mfg. Co in Big Timber, Montana, this is the "Creedmoor Long Range" variant of the 1874 Sharps rifle.
The full 32", half octagonal, half round, 7/8" at the muzzle, heavy barrel is fitted to a color case hardened center fire 1874 action, with 3lb Creedmoor single stage trigger. It is chambered for the traditional 45-70 Government cartridge.
The 14" LOP stock is finished with a checkered and color case hardened shotgun style buttplate, and is made from an extra fancy piece of American walnut. The round forend, of the same wood, is finished with a customary pewter tip.
That Sharps is outfitted with MVA sights, a Soule pattern tang sight and a spirit level front sight.
The rifle, ready to shoot, weights a mere 10lb 4oz.
It is in absolute new condition, with all papers and MVA accessories.
