An elegant and lightweight stalking and hunting rifle built on a modified Kimber 84M system.

The rifle is chambered for the .280 Ackley Improved, a remarkable performance cartridge, close to the 7^mm Remington Magnum, but in a standard format.280AI

In addition to the .280 AI, this chambering is unique in that it can fire both the .280 Remington and the 7x64 Brenneke, two cartridges whose cases are formed upon firing to the dimensions of the Ackley Improved version.

The 24" barrel sports an elegant band mounted front sight and a sling swivel, while the milled receiver supports a rare Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 scope with a BRX reticle on D&D modified Talley mount.

To take full advantage of the optic's performance, the trigger is set for a crisp 1lb 5oz pull.

The pillars bedded stock, typical of D&D rifles, is crafted from beautifully figured French walnut [Juglans Regia], with elongated grip, thin black horn grip cap, and short, rounded forend capped with an ebony tip.

Measured on the thin, black leather covered butt pad, the stock length of pull is 14½".

In this .280 AI rifle, in addition to perfect ergonomics, emphasis was placed on the weapon's balance, resulting in a net weight of 6lb 10oz and only 7lb 10oz scoped.
