Caliber : .416 Rigby

This superb example of Big Game Express Rifle is one of the first produced by HEYM Jagdgewehr Manufaktur in Römhild in the early 1990s.

Chambered for the formidable .416 Rigby, this rifle uses a true magnum action built on a modernized Mauser system and equipped with an innovative four-round magazine.

The 24" barrel, forged from Krupp steel, features a three-leaf express rear sight set for 50, 100, and 200 meters distances, paired with an adjustable contrasting front bead.

The 14½" LOP stock is crafted from fine French walnut with an elegant beaded cheekpiece and an ebony caped rounded forend.

The pistol grip features a steel trapped cap and, like the forend, is perfectly checkered.

This collector's bolt action has undergone several significant upgrades, including full bedding, walnut satin oil finish, 1" leather covered pad, and anti-reflective hand pitting on the action front ring before nice satin matte black bluing.

The action is wholly smooth, feeding is flawless, and the single stage trigger pull is set at 2lb 10oz.

This beautiful 10lb 2oz .416 big game rifle appears to have seen very little use and is in near-mint condition.
