Modèle 76 Classic – Two scopes set
DAKOTA
Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : .300 Winch. Mag.
Superb Dakota 76 Classic, .300WM caliber, equipped with two scopes for stalking and driven shooting.
This elegant rifle was designed in 1986 by Don Allen and Pete Grisel to produce a rifle combining the best features of the Mauser 98 and the pre-64 Winchester 70.
Manufactured by Dakota Arms Inc. in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA, the Model 76 features controlled round feeding and uses the highest-quality barrels, most often imported from Lothar Walther in Germany.
This .300 Winchester Magnum sports a 25½" barrel with a Pendelton recoil brake, machined using electro-erosion technology.
The classic 13½" LOP stock, made of beautiful English California walnut (Juglans Californica), is superbly checkered in borderless point-pattern, and goes its grip finished with a steel cap studded with the manufacturer's crest.
All metal parts are treated with a satin black bluing, while the walnut is oil-finished.
To take full advantage of the versatility of this Dakota 76 and its caliber, the rifle is fitted with two scopes.
For stalking and long-range shooting, a Kahles Helia III 4-12x44i with illuminated reticle is mounted on a set of modified Talley rings, while an Helia S 1.1-4.5x20, from the same Austrian optics manufacturer, is more suitable for driven hunts.
With a single stage trigger set to a clean 1lb-12oz let off, this rifle delivers remarkable accuracy.
The rifle alone weighs only 7lb-9oz and 8lb-14oz regardless of the scope mounted.
* The rifle and scopes set is backed by our full warranty *
