An exceptional, hand detachable sidelocks, best quality side-by-side gun, made towards the end of the 1990s by Georges GRANGER's team in Saint-Etienne on a traditional action with Purdey double sliding bolts.

The locks are traditional H&H double safety front spring while the first trigger is articulated.

The 28" chopper lump, triple-proof, chromium-molybdenum steel barrels are bored to .728", with right choke to .720" (2/10°) and the left one to.701" (7/10°).

The H&H ejectors strike wide diameter cartridge extractors.

The engraving is absolutely outstanding.

The entire action is treated with superbly executed English style roses, scrolls and bouquets, on perfect French grey finish.

The work being signed by the great master Pietro SABATTI.

A piece of well-seasoned and finely figured French walnut (Juglans Regia) has been used to make the finely checkered 15" LOP straight stock.

The net weight of this beautifully balanced gun is 6lb 8oz, distributed into 3lb 2oz for the barrels with fore-end and 3lb 5oz for the stocked action.

The gun is presented in a sumptuous oak and leather English case with maker's label and original proof certificate.
