Rifles
Category : C
Caliber : 6,5x57.R
Designed by Horst BLASER at Jsny at the end of the seventies, this single shot rifle remains one of the best falling block of the last fifty years.
In the late 2000, using a gorgeous piece of French walnut, we restocked in the English style, that particular sample made circa 1980.
The 14½ inches LOP stock is finished with a checkered black buffalo horn buttplate and a blued steel grip cap whereas the forend is capped with a black horn tip.
The partly octagonal 24 inches long barrel sport a sighting rib, already fitted with scope bases.
The entire action is stainless steel and uses a simple system that permits to separately cock the firing mechanism with a light pull on the last motion of the falling block lever, thus the rifle must be carried loaded without danger. The trigger is fully adjustable and could be made to break cleanly with a one-pound pull.
Even if only best quality materials are used in its manufacture, that single shot weights only 6lb 7oz with a perfect centered balance.
It shots very accurately and remains in perfect condition.
