A very attractive Mauser rifle stocked to the muzzle as an "S" type stutzen and chambered for the 6,5x57 Mauser cartridge.
The 20" barrel bears gold lined rear sight regulated on a front transverse bead on short ramp.
The 98' action is fitted with an ERA single set trigger, a lever bolted magazine floorplate and a Mannlicher style spoon handle.
The walnut 14¼" LOP full stock is of the classic Mauser "S" pattern with double schnabels, and oval cheekpiece; the buttplate being a slim Pachmayr 452 Old English.
A KAHLES "Helia" 1,5-6x42 R.4 scope is fitted on hand crafted and engraved Suhl claw mounts, the front base being soldered on the barrel breech end.
That little Mauser functions flawlessly and shoots accurately; it’s the perfect rifle for roe deer stalking or mountain hunting.
Net weight 6lbs 15oz. and 8lbs 4oz scoped.
