Superb DARNE V22HS sliding breach side-by-side gun made in 1934.

This nice 12GA 2½" fixed barrels gun is presented in its restored original leather case.

This gun is in perfect mechanical condition and displays the superb quality that has made the reputation of the great Saint-Etienne manufacture.

The 26'' "Three Palmes" barrels retain their original .717" bore and untouched 4/10° & 7/10° chokes.

The 14" LOP rounded semi-pistol grip stock is made of high grade French walnut ending on a slim black horn checkered buttplate while the short forend is also capped with black horn.

The sliding breach, the action table and the trimming are very finely engraved with scrolls and bouquets, while the fences are elegantly chiseled with acanthus.

The functioning is perfect, the large key firmly locking the sliding breech and the selective ejectors expelling strongly the fired cases.

With a weight of only 5lb-5oz and a perfect balance this gun is very lively and of an undeniable efficiency.
