Nice hunting .270W rifle built on a fully blue printed standard MAUSER 98' action.

The 25" barrel is a Lothar-Walther match grade made of 34CrNiMo6 chrome/vanadium steel.

The trigger is a modified all steel ERA, set for a crisp 28oz. single stage let-off and the original safety shroud has been converted into a side swing two-position safety.

The receiver is fitted with color case hardened TALLEY style bases, the one on the rear bridge being set inside the cartridge guide.

A small, removable TALLEY peep sight is regulated on the front sight bead fitted on a detachable ramp that conceals the muzzle suppressor threads.

The 14½" LOP stock is made of high-quality, finely figured, straight-grained French walnut, shaped in the pre-war Griffin & Howe style, with ebony forend tip, steel butt plate and grip cap.

The action and furniture are black blue finished.

The rifle is equipped with a set of 30^mm TALLEY rings but can be supplied upon request with any other model of different diameter and height.

This perfectly balanced 7lb 11oz. rifle was crafted by Jean-Philippe DORLEAC as a "Working Rifle", without compromising on performance, balance, or elegance.

While optimized for 130-grain bullets, this .270W rifle shoots a wide range of bullets weights with remarkable accuracy.
